Cameron Highlands

With haze level reaching a hazardous level in excess of 400 in Singapore, I escaped to the coolness and serenity of Cameron Highlands for a short 2D1N trip (even with the haze, we were expected to report to work, thus the short duration)

The last I went was more than 10years ago, and much has developed here. One thing didnt change thou, the coolness and freshness of the air.

What is a trip to Cameron without a visit to the Tea Plantation? For a RM65 package, I get to visit the BOH Tea Plantation, a main tourist attraction of Cameron Highlands.

The sunrise package costed RM60 too, together with having to drag yourself out of bed at 5:30am.

But the view was well worth it thou, a pity the sunrise was not as spectacular as previous days due to the clouds in the skies.

Nevertheless, being able to enjoy the sight at 14 degrees Celsius with a hot beverage was a unique experience for sunny islander me.

Last but not least, headed to a cafe before heading back to Singapore, and this was the view just beside my table.

All in all, it was a short trip, but definitely enjoyable. A proper sightseeing tour around Cameron might require a 3D2N stay, thus I'll definitely be visiting Cameron again.
