Orbs

Pack your bag, check your equipment and head to the streets.

What is the difference between shooting alone and with a group of friends, and which do you prefer?

Different camps has difference retorts. In a group, I find it easier to adopt a risky approach to taking THAT moment, finding security and comfort in numbers. The socialising factor is also present, having a meal, sharing knowledge or just having a laugh also aids in fulfilling our social needs.

On the flipside, shooting alone means you get to walk where ever you want to go, at your own pace, at your own style.

Over a cooling Saturday, I walked down the streets with a few fellow photographers. We first went to the National Museum of Singapore. It is a really nice building in both exterior and interior aspect. Most exhibits are free to enter, but do take note that as with all other museum, flash is not encouraged in such exhibits.

I like how the reflection hits it off the piano black cupboard on the left side as this gentleman flips through the history book.

The museum employs audio guide extensively in its exhibits.

The museum is also a 5 minutes walk away from the nightlife of Orchard Road. December brings about much needed cool breeze which makes walking down Orchard Road more enjoyable.

Almost a ever-present, this old lady sits at random spots along Orchard Road, mainly beside traffic light junctions, selling her stuffs. I heard that her products are quite steep in pricing.

Waiting for his girlfriend to finish shopping?

This Ferrero Rocher Christmas Tree is always present every Christmas.
