What does National Day mean to you?

Often, people are lost in the never ending argument of how politics are destroying our way of life. Foreign Imports, Tax, Electronic Road Gantries and many others.

We may dislike the policies, the Government. But we love the country, and we want it to be free. Singaporeans who have gone through National Service like myself, will lay down our lives to protect the freedom of our country. 

We die, with the crest on our chest, and our flag flying up high.

Lives of the innocent and warriors were lost, blood and tears shed in the building of our foundations. Let us never forget the things we lost in what made us today.
